Coral Flower Extra Weft Handwoven Indian Organic Cotton - Merchant & Mills

A unique handcrafted Kala cotton in a dusty coral with tiny white ditsy flowers woven through using extra weft technique. Extra weft is where additional weft yarns in contrasting colours, are woven through to create a motif. This yarn is woven in with the structural yarns.

This cloth would make beautiful skirts, dresses, tops and shirts. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains.

• Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
